Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Smile by Ell ("we", "our", or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Booking Terms & Conditions.


  1. Bookings

Appointments may be made online, via phone, email, social media or any other approved booking method.

A booking is considered confirmed once you have received confirmation from Smile by Ell. Some appointments or services may require a booking fee or deposit to secure your appointment.


2. Deposits

Where a deposit is required:

• Deposits are applied towards the total cost of your appointment.

• Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.

• If you reschedule your appointment within the required notice period, your deposit may be transferred to your new appointment.


3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Appointments changed with sufficient notice may have any eligible deposit transferred to a future booking.

Late cancellations or changes may result in the loss of your deposit.


4. Failure to Attend

If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice ("no-show" or “fta”), your deposit may be forfeited.

Future bookings may require full payment in advance.


5. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However:

  • Your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying other clients.

  • If there is insufficient time to safely complete your treatment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and cancellation fees may apply.


6. Eligibility for Treatment

Smile by Ell reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment where it is considered unsuitable or unsafe.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding (where treatment is not recommended)

• Active dental pain or infection

• Untreated cavities

• Significant gum disease

• Loose teeth

• Recent oral surgery

• Certain medical conditions or medications

• Any circumstance where treatment may not be appropriate

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information before treatment.


7. Teeth Whitening Results

Individual whitening results vary from person to person.

Results depend on many factors, including:

• Natural tooth colour

• Existing stains

• Lifestyle habits

• Age

• Oral health

• Previous dental treatment

While we aim to achieve the best possible outcome, Smile by Ell cannot guarantee a specific shade or whitening result


8. Tooth Gems

Tooth gems are a cosmetic enhancement and their longevity varies between individuals.

Factors affecting longevity include:

• Bite and tooth position

• Eating habits

• Oral hygiene

• Lifestyle

• Following aftercare instructions

Clients are responsible for following all aftercare advice provided after treatment.

Smile by Ell cannot guarantee how long a tooth gem will remain attached.


9. Mobile Appointments

For mobile appointments:

  • Clients must provide a safe, clean and suitable treatment area.

  • Access to a standard power outlet may be required.

  • Adequate lighting and seating should be available.

  • Parking fees, travel charges or minimum booking requirements may apply depending on your location.


10. Shopping Centre, Markets & Pop-Up Appointments

Appointments conducted at shopping centres, markets & pop-up locations are subject to centre trading hours and site availability.

Walk-in appointments are welcomed where availability permits, however pre-booked appointments will receive priority.


11. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices are subject to change without notice; however, the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured unless otherwise advised.


12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, limits or modifies any rights or guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, those rights will apply.


13. Changes to These Terms

Smile by Ell may update these Booking Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
